I’m just back from a week traveling across Europe with my colleagues, delivering an update to our customers on the latest release of Visual LANSA (version 14 SP2). As a new member of the team, it was a valuable opportunity for me to meet so many customers in London, Paris, Breda and Amsterdam. I’m impressed by the imagination, creativeness and talent shown in the applications they’ve created with Visual LANSA.
If you came to any of the events last week, thank you. I hope you found them useful. I’d like to extend particular thanks to the speakers from the Government of Andorra, building a plethora of citizen-facing applications for managing the elections process and more, British Car Auctions, providing users with easy access to their back-office logistics systems through the web, and Bidfood in the Netherlands that has a large-scale web ordering platform in the foodservice industry. All use the Visual LANSA development platform.
I’d also like to thank my LANSA colleagues for great teamwork for this series of events. Integrated version control, great tools to build sophisticated and sexy user interfaces, new security features, new productivity tools in the IDE and the chance to try out Visual LANSA with our new cloud trial version – there was a lot to talk about, so we did…
